“Uyir” is a Non-Governmental Organization, Registered under Trust Act on 7th Day of March’2018, with the mission of making Coimbatore an accident free Society and formed by the Industrialists and well known like-minded people of Coimbatore.

The UYIR Road Safety Hackathon is a dynamic event focused on developing simple, cost-effective, and quickly implementable solutions to enhance road safety. Our goal is to bring together creative minds, including developers, designers, engineers, and safety experts, to brainstorm and prototype innovative ideas that can be rapidly deployed to make roads safer for everyone.
Centered on technological innovation and community involvement, the themes focus on AI, IoT, and educational gamification to enhance road safety, alongside efforts to improve infrastructure, traffic management, and inclusivity on roads.
